Don Kinderdick (ArchEngr'87) is president, CEO, and board chairman of BEGA North America, where he has led operations since joining in 2000. With prior roles at Zumtobel Staff Lighting and Sterner Lighting, he has built a career focused on high‑quality lighting design, manufacturing, and sustainability. A longtime supporter of lighting education, he chairs the Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy advisory board at ������Ƶ.

Gregory Greenstreet, a ������Ƶ MS CS alum, is a longtime software entrepreneur who founded and sold multiple companies and helped launch DigitalGlobe. He has led major engineering teams in Boulder, taught Big Data Architecture for over a decade, and mentors startups through TechStars. He lives in Four Mile Canyon with his family and enjoys mountain sports and playing mandolin.

Chemical and biological engineering senior Arianna McCarty has earned the prestigious Churchill Scholarship, becoming just the fourth student in university history to receive the honor. The award will support a year of master’s study at the University of Cambridge, recognizing her exceptional research achievements and academic excellence.

Evan Thomas, a professor and director of the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering & Resilience, has been awarded a career honor from the International Water Association for work that has reshaped how safe drinking water is delivered in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions.

Elle Stark, a PhD student in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, was recently awarded a prestigious Gallery of Fluid Motion (GFM) Award for a video describing her research.

Mathur, a fourth-year electrical engineering student, has earned the fall 2025 Community Impact Award from the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Mathur has served as treasurer for the Society of Women Engineers and Engineers Without Border during her time at ������Ƶ.

The recognitions reflect Coleman's work as a teaching assistant for six classes; his strong academic performance—including three graduate-level classes—and his research, where he served as first author on two papers stemming from his undergraduate thesis. It also reflects his time spent as a ChBE student ambassador.

Chemical and Biological Engineering PhD Student Bruce Kirkpatrick was honored with the 2025 Outstanding Dissertation Award. His hydrogel research supports technologies that enable 3D cell culture for tissue engineering and disease modeling, as well as acellular biomaterials for applications like controlled release of drugs or vaccines.

Caroline Mumm, an architectural engineering major, represented ������Ƶ during a summer abroad program at Freie Universität Berlin International Summer University (FUBis). Mumm returned with a deeper understanding of the diverse challenges and innovations in sustainable building worldwide.

The Advancing Indigenous People in STEM (AISES) has named ������Ƶ as one of the top 200 colleges for Indigenous students in its 2025-2026 national rankings. AISES is a national nonprofit dedicated to increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in STEM fields.
