Graduation Deadlines
June 15
Graduate students who have not already done so must apply online to graduate through the on the “apply for graduation” card in order to have the degree awarded in August. This is required whether or not you attended the university-wide ceremony in May. PhD students must enter their dissertation title as part of the online graduation application; you may update the title through the portal until this date. This title will appear on your transcript after your degree is awarded.

Master's students who have not already done so must submit to the Graduate School a . Applications follow a workflow process and must be approved by the academic department before they are directed to the Graduate School.

Join our weekly write-ins and make steady progress on your thesis, dissertation or other academic projects, alongside a community of fellow graduate students. These sessions offer a distraction-free environment to help you build momentum, stay accountable, and actually get words on the page. Whether you’re drafting, revising or outlining, this is your time to show up and move your work forward.

What is perfectionism and what contributes to it?
Join Stacy Gerberich, the Graduate School’s embedded therapist, to learn more about perfectionism and how it can hinder your productivity as a graduate student. This workshop will also discuss ways to change this type of thinking and improve your academic success and overall wellness.

In theory, it shouldn't be that hard, but in practice many of us can't articulate why we do what we do, think what we think, or want what we want. Yet we expect to be motivated and take action and then feel frustrated when we fall short.
