Has your car insurance, student loan, scholarship, medical or other provider requested verification of your ��Ƶ enrollment?

If so, your advance enrollment verification is now available for Spring 2025.

Your advance enrollment verification will be available until the first day of classes, Thursday, Jan. 8. After that, your current-semester verification for spring will update in mid-February.

Note: These verifications display your financial aid enrollment status only. Some graduate students qualify as full- or half-time based on their academic load, but as only half- or less-than-half-time based on their financial aid load. If you're one of those students, you may need to email the Office of the Registrar to discuss your options.

As a continuing graduate student, you're able to register now. Registration remains open through open enrollment, which begins Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.

Working on Your Thesis or Dissertation?

If you're a master's or doctoral student working only on your thesis or dissertation, we encourage you to reach out to your faculty advisor to make plans for the spring semester.

Check Your Waitlist Position

Attend the first class meeting and tell the instructor you're on the waitlist. They may be able to advise you on your chances of being enrolled from the waitlist and whether you should continue to attend the class meetings.

What Happens Next

If a seat becomes available in your waitlisted class:

Between now and Aug. 29, the next eligible waitlisted student will be enrolled automatically. If you’re enrolled automatically, you’ll receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.
Between Aug. 30 and Sept. 7, contact the department offering the class to see if their policies allow them to enroll you manually.
On Monday, Sept. 8, waitlists are canceled. If you still aren't enrolled, you'll lose access to the class's online materials and be removed from the class roster. However, you may be eligible to use course reservation the next time it's offered to guarantee yourself a seat.

What Happens Next

If a seat becomes available in your waitlisted class:

Between now and when automatic waitlist enrollment ends, the next eligible waitlisted student will be enrolled automatically. If you’re enrolled automatically, you’ll receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.
After automatic waitlist enrollment ends, contact the department offering the class to see if their policies allow them to enroll you manually. If not, you may want to remain on the waitlist so you're eligible for course reservation, which can guarantee you a seat the next time the course is offered.

After waitlists are canceled, if you still aren't enrolled, you'll lose access to the class's online materials and be removed from the class roster. If you remained on the waitlist, we'll email you a reminder during the next course reservation period. Additional eligibility requirements may apply and some classes are only offered during certain semesters.
