SRI Research Fellowship

In January 2026, the Sustainability Research Initiative is launching a research fellowship for ÎÞÂëÊÓƵ researchers from across academic units and disciplinary backgrounds to build community, practice futuristic thinking, and coalesce into transdisciplinary teams to push sustainability research forward.Ìý

We aim to create a space where serendipity can arise from uncommon intellectual collaboration that can lead to transformative sustainability scholarship and solutions. This year-long fellowship will serve as an intellectual incubator for up to 30 ÎÞÂëÊÓƵ researchers and consist of a combination of:

  • Focused and facilitated work
  • Space for sustained conversations that can form the foundation for working groups and project proposals
  • An opportunity to co-organize workshops with SRI, based on emergent topics of interest
