The Office of Graduate Access and Retention offers professional development, mentoring and financial support opportunities to underserved current graduate students in science, math, and engineering. Through the initiative, we foster a community of current graduate student peers, and offer them the opportunity to meet, socialize and share their experiences.
GARÌýoffersÌýopportunities for current grad students to mentor the next generation of STEM scholars through ourÌýSMART ProgramÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýColorado Advantage Program.ÌýWe are also affiliated with STEM Routes, a graduate student-led organization that offers mentoring and community. In addition, is an independent organization composed of postdocs and graduate students thatÌýinvites underrepresented scholars to campus to give discipline-specific colloquia and also to provide career development and inspirational talks.

Colorado Advantage is a Ph.D preview program that gives current non ÎÞÂëÊÓÆµ undergrads a leg up in the applications process by organizing one-on-one meetings with STEM faculty.Ìý
